For the past five years, RWA has served as Engineer of Record for Bonita Springs Utilities, Inc., and has successfully completed numerous utility design projects under this contract. These projects consisted of the design, permitting, and construction phases of multiple sanitary sewer force main and water main relocations. The construction administration services included project administration, bidding, construction services and spot inspections, testing and permit certification, as-built preparation, pay estimates, and project closeout.
RWA provided the design and permitting services for a force main upgrade project along Bonita Beach Road between Bonita Grande Drive and the entrance to Palmira Golf and Country Club. The project involved the design of 7,800 feet of 16” sanitary sewer force main, 110 feet of 10” sanitary sewer force main, and 560 feet of 6” sanitary sewer force main to replace the existing 8” sanitary sewer force main. The project involved extensive coordination with the roadway engineer designing the Bonita Beach Road widening project and Lee DOT. This project is currently in permitting.
