For the past five years, RWA has served as Engineer of Record for Bonita Springs Utilities, Inc., and has successfully completed numerous utility design projects under this contract. These projects consisted of the design, permitting, and construction phases of multiple sanitary sewer force main and water main relocations. The construction administration services included project administration, bidding, construction services and spot inspections, testing and permit certification, as-built preparation, pay estimates, and project closeout.
RWA provided the design, permitting, and bidding services for a water main interconnect between Bonita Springs Utilities and Collier County Public Utilities. The project involved the design of 650 feet of 12” water main from the entrance to Vasari County Club south along the Imperial Parkway right-of-way to the Lee County/Collier County line. The improvements were required to provide emergency relief to either Bonita Springs Utilities, Inc. or Collier County Utilities. The project involved coordination with Collier County Public Utilities and their design engineer responsible for the interconnect assembly. This project is awaiting budgetary funding for construction.
