RWA is assisting the Hendry County Planning and Development Department in the development of County’s Evaluation and Appraisal Report (EAR) of the 1999 Comprehensive Plan, as part of RWA’s Professional Service Contract. The work currently being provided by RWA includes planning studies; research and analysis of the changes in the County’s existing; and projected population figures, land area, and the amount of developable land. Additionally, RWA has analyzed demographic and growth patterns and has evaluated the County’s ability to meet those growth demands. As part of this project, RWA is also providing an assessment of the successes and shortcomings related to each element of the Comprehensive Plan. The work conducted by RWA will assist Hendry County in providing the foundation for future amendments to the Comprehensive Plan.
