Project Location: Collier County, FL
RWA was selected by Collier County as a sub-consultant to provide control, topographic, vertical, jurisdictional, photogrammetric, and right-of-way surveys for the 6.5-mile Golden Gate Boulevard project. This project included mapping a 400-foot corridor that started 1,320 feet west of Wilson Blvd. and ended 1,320 feet east of Desoto Blvd. Included within this project were boundary and topographic surveys of seven, five-acre stormwater management ponds; the establishment of vertical bench marks on five foot intervals; coordination with the geotechnical consultants; three bridge crossings; and the establishment of state plane coordinates utilizing GPS technology.
