Project Location: Highlands County, FL
RWA provided surveying services for the 384-acre wetland restoration project located in Highlands County for the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS).
The restoration project aims to restore the wetland hydrology to as many acres as possible within the site boundary, in order to support native wetland plant species such that wetland wildlife habitat values will be restored and enhanced. The project included establishing GPS network, collecting hydrological topographic data, and obtaining record drawings of existing drainage structures.
