Patrick Vanasse, AICP Appointed as Regional Representative for the FRA

RWA, Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Planning Manager, Patrick Vanasse, AICP as the Southwest Florida Regional Representative for the Florida Redevelopment Association.

As Regional Representative, Mr. Vanasse will act as a liaison between the membership and the FRA Board, educating and reaching out to local opportunities to spread the word about redevelopment issues and to strengthen and advocate for quality revitalization of our communities. The Florida Redevelopment Association is dedicated to the revitalization and preservation of Florida’s communities. Operated under a contract with the Florida League of Cities in Tallahassee, the Association’s purpose is to promote the improvement of downtowns and other urban areas through redevelopment and development activities under the Florida Statutes; encourage Florida's communities to create a healthy mix of affordable workforce and market rate housing; and provide a forum for networking, training and technical assistance; be an advocate for its membership; and monitor legal and legislative issues. The FRA currently has more than 300 public and business agency members.

As the Planning Manager at RWA, Mr. Vanasse has more than 11 years of experience in South Florida with a demonstrated ability in successfully managing urban planning, land-use, and regulatory projects. He has extensive experience working with an array of comprehensive plans and land development codes; as well as, developing land development regulations and comprehensive plan amendments for master planned developments throughout Southwest Florida.
