James M. Anderson

Vice President, Chief Operating Officer

Mr. James Anderson is a founding Principal of RWA and currently serves on the Board of Directors. In his role as Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Anderson directs the firm’s project design production and computer aided design (CAD) support services. With over 20 years of design and consulting experience in Florida, Mr. Anderson possesses significant expertise in project design and project management, and leads multi-disciplined development teams of internal and external resources. Mr. Anderson has developed an extensive background in conceptual site planning and layout, site design, contract management, and construction administration. He maintains a methodically thorough understanding of the permitting process at the local, regional, and state levels.

Mr. Anderson’s extensive project experience includes single family and multi-family residential projects, master planned communities, County parks, large utility distribution main extensions, fire stations, industrial sites, shopping centers, marinas, and golf courses.

For over 10 years, Mr. Anderson has been a long standing member of the Collier Building Industry Association (CBIA), where he is particularly active in the organization’s Government Affairs Committee and has donated professional services for the design and permitting of CBIA’s current office. Mr. Anderson is a current participate in the Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce Leadership Collier Class of 2010. In addition, Mr. Anderson is a former member of the Collier County DSAC Utility Advisory Committee. Mr. Anderson has held Board Member and Scholarship Director positions with the WCMCC, an organization of dedicated car enthusiasts and hobbyists. Mr. Anderson actively participates in various other charitable organizations and events that raise funds and awareness for worthy causes such as Habitat for Humanity, St. Matthew’s House, Lorenzo Walker Vocational-Tech, and Liberty Youth Ranch.
