RWA employee volunteers came out on Saturday, April 26 to show their support for a truly great cause – Habitat for Humanity!  RWA employees participated in the firm’s fourth Habitat volunteer project at the Trail Ridge community located one mile east of Collier Boulevard on Tamiami Trail in Naples.  RWA’s “construction-workers-for-a-day” participated in this home building project by laying sod, installing framing, and painting the house. Thanks to the following RWA employees for volunteering at this Habitat event:

RWA is an avid supporter of Habitat for Humanity and strongly believes in the organization’s ultimate goal of eliminating poverty housing and homelessness by building adequate and basic housing.  This is the fourth time that RWA volunteers have participated on Habitat projects in Lee and Collier Counties.  RWA is also currently providing professional services for multiple Habitat for Humanity projects, including Trail Ridge, Faith Landing, and Woodcrest.  RWA’s volunteers did not hesitate a moment to roll up their sleeves in support of such a worthy cause!     

Through volunteer labor and donations of money and materials, Habitat builds and rehabilitates simple, decent houses with the help of the homeowner families.  Habitat houses are sold to partner families at no profit and financed with affordable loans.  About 80 other homes are currently under construction in the Naples Trail Ridge community, which will eventually house 204 families.  RWA’s employee volunteers worked right alongside the families who must work sweat equity hours to earn their Habitat home.  Each family must contribute at least 500 hours to help build houses in their future community.  Visit http://www.habitatcollier.org/ for more information on Habitat for Humanity of Collier County.
